Comhaltas Irish Show at Kilkenny Castle
Ceoltóirí Kilkenny , the Comhaltas entertainment group, begin their 21st summer season of Irish Entertainment at Kilkenny Castleon Wednesday June 20th.
For the months of June, July and August over 20 members of Ceoltóirí Kilkenny will present a colourful and exciting traditional show of music , song and dance each Wednesday night at the unique setting of The Parade Tower, Kilkenny Castle.
The group was formed in 1991 and since then this talented group of entertainers have been presenting their Irish Entertainment show in the city. The show is popular with locals and tourists alike. As well as entertaining the many tourists who visit Kilkenny each year the group have travelled extensively bringing their show to many parts of the world.
This is a great family entertainment show where audience participation is encouraged and welcomed. The group are part of a national Comhaltas network of Irish Entertainment Shows called Seisiún which sees groups perform in many locations across Ireland during the summer months.
