Taking place on Saturday 27^th July 2013 at Kilkenny Castle.

The TriGrandPrix Ireland will take place in the heart of Kilkenny City including a swim through the city in the River Nore and a run through the iconic Kilkenny Castle Park.

It will include olympic, sprint, olympic relay and sprint relay events and a children's event. It is the only Irish triathlon to be part of the TriGrandPrix Championship with a prize purse of EUR10,000.   TriGrandPrix events attract some of the world's top professional triathletes although the main focus will be on Age Group and first time Triathletes.   

A TriGrandPrix Experience is a Triathlon celebration in which Professional Triathletes, Age Group Triathletes, First Time Triathletes, family, friends, kids and celebrities find the right event/distance to have fun and spend a Triathlon weekend together. A TriGrandPrix Experience is an iconic place where Athlete Care is the number one priority

In 2012, there are 5 TriGrandPrix's taking place in Europe. 3 in Spain, 1 in France and 1 in Kilkenny, Ireland.
