Whether you are looking for a special book, first edition or author signed or maybe you are looking for a great variety of books at fantastic prices...then Graiguenamanagh "Town of Books" is a must for you.

For this weekend the town will be transformed literally (no pun intended) into a Town of Books. With the establishment of the festival Graiguenamanagh is in the process of becoming a permanent Booktown. But there's more than just books - come for the street entertainment, trad sessions in the pubs, river walking, food and craft fair, art by the Abbey and much more. The festival kicks off on Friday afternoon and runs until late Sunday evening. Visit the 806 year old Cistertian Abbey, listen to the famous Graiguenamanagh Brass Band and watch the Rowing Club races and cot building exhibition. Come for the books but enjoy good food and good craic all day.
