Fishing at Castlecomer Discovery Park
Fishing: Enjoy the tranquility of the lakes through the seasons; originally created as the centrepiece of the estate. The lower lake is reserved for fly fishing and the upper lake for bait fishing and both are well stocked with rainbow trout and are home to a variety of waterfowl. There is full access to the water and a cascade links the lakes and channels the water back into the River Deen. Permits cost €15 per person for four hours angling, which allows for two fish to be taken away...... |
