MOTHERS DAY
MacDonagh Junction is running a competition for Mothers Day where mothers will be given a chace to win their 'Ideal Mothers Day'. We all know that mothers care in a way that only mothers seem to care and to celebrate this fact, Macdonagh Junction wuld like to make some lucky mother's dream Mothers Day come true (within reason). Entry forms will be available in all MacDonagh Junction stores from early March to all who have made a purchase within the Centre. Entrants will simply have to state why they feel they deserve the prize and what their ideal Mothers Day is. ST PATRICK'S DAY
Plans are afoot for this year's St Patrick's Day celebrations and MacDonagh Junction will be putting on plenty of entertainment on the day. Some of the acts who will be performing in Workhouse Square on the day are: Dancewise
Starlight Productions will perform songs from their upcoming show, Jesus Christ Superstar
Evelyn White Irish Dancers
Each of the acts will perform for around 30 minutes commencing at approx 3:15pm. We will also have face painting and baloon making on the mall. Also, look out for Macster, MacDonagh Junction mascot, who will be meeting and greeting on the mall.
PHOTO & ART DISPLAYS
MacDonagh Junction will hold its regular Art Displays on the last Saturday and Sunday in every month in Workhouse Square. Come along and check out the best in local artistry. ART & PHOTO DISPLAYS
The Photographic Society of Kilkenny will hold exhibitions on the third Sunday of every month
